Abstract Intrahepatic cholestasis occurs commonly after liver transplantation and may be caused by infections, drugs, and acute or chronic rejection. Some disorders may be managed medically, but others often require re-transplantation. Prompt recognition and specific treatment can improve the outcome of liver recipients.
